Privacy policy

This page explains which personal data I process when you use this website or write to me, what I use it for and what rights you have, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

What data I process

• Contact form: name, email, project type, budget, timeline and the message you write.
• Email or WhatsApp: the data you send when you write to me directly.
• Visit statistics: aggregated, anonymous data (pages viewed, country, device type), without cookies or personal identifiers.

Why I use it and on what legal basis

I only use your contact details to answer your request and, if you ask for it, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is the consent you give when submitting the form and taking pre-contractual steps at your request (art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR). Anonymous statistics are based on the legitimate interest of knowing which parts of the website are useful (art. 6.1.f).

How long I keep it

For as long as we are discussing your project. If we don't end up working together, I delete it within 12 months at the latest. If there is a business relationship, it is kept for the periods required by law (for example, for tax purposes).

Who it is shared with

I don't sell or share your data. To run the website I use a single provider, acting as data processor: Cloudflare, Inc., for website hosting, anonymous statistics and sending the email generated by the contact form.

Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area (United States) with appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It only stores the view you choose (Blueprint or Render) in your browser to remember it on your next visit; it is a technical preference that never leaves your device.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to or restrict its processing, or request its portability by writing to hola@jaimegarrod.com. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
